Seyi David

Oluwaseyi Psalm David, professionally known as Seyi David or PsalmDavid, is an entrepreneurship developer, talent architect and product strategist based in Akure, Ondo State. He founded Evolve Hub to help people discover and develop their abilities and turn them into entrepreneurial opportunities across technology, the creative industries and business.

His entrepreneurial journey began while studying Estate Management at the Federal University of Technology Akure, where he established CreatvColony and helped develop the Evolve student entrepreneurship movement. His subsequent work includes entrepreneurship development with the Ondo State Entrepreneurship Agency, product management at Entrepreneurship Village and production management for the Global Entrepreneurship Festival.

His initiatives include Evolve Talent Factory, Guider for teenagers, Evolution Camp for NYSC members and the Nigerian Students Entrepreneurs Awards. He also describes himself as an identity and clarity coach and author of Evolve Life Journal. His work combines talent development, enterprise education, mentoring and the practical delivery of programmes and events.

Seyi has publicly connected his entrepreneurial motivation to his Christian faith. In a 2016 interview with The Green Institute, he explained that recognising his God-given abilities, through the biblical parable of the talents, encouraged him to pursue multiple ventures. The Institute also recognised his community work and environmental activities, including plastic reuse and recycling.

For Generation Next, his experience offers students and graduates guidance on discovering their strengths, developing ideas into viable ventures and building relationships that create opportunities. His FUTA roots and work with young entrepreneurs are particularly relevant to the programme's launch in Akure.
